Our Cellular Hydration Clinical Study reinforces what we’ve always believed: when designed with both science and real-world application in mind, smart supplementation can bring measurable, meaningful improvements to daily performance and wellbeing.

Why Independent Clinical Research Matters

In the supplement industry, scientific integrity is non-negotiable. While consumer feedback and anecdotal experience are hugely valuable, only independent clinical studies can truly validate whether a product stands up to its promises. When run independently, they provide transparency, remove bias, and allow a product to be evaluated under impartial conditions.

At ARTAH, we see targeted supplementation as one of the most powerful tools for enhancing personal performance in all its forms, whether you’re presenting at 9AM, parenting at midnight, or training for a marathon. As a practitioner-led brand passionate about trust and product integrity, our formulas are grounded in science and real-world clinical experience. This philosophy guided our decision to conduct an independent clinical study on Cellular Hydration, our best-selling electrolyte and energy support formula. The study not only confirmed the efficacy of the formulation but also provided new insights into how a low-sodium, nutrient-rich electrolyte blend can impact energy, cognition, and overall wellbeing.

Study Design and Results

The trial enrolled healthy men and women aged 25–60 who maintained their existing diet, exercise, and lifestyle patterns throughout the study period. Over the course of four weeks, participants reported significant changes across measures of energy, cognition, and physical performance.

By Week 1, participants already noted measurable benefits:

  • 63% reported improved energy

  • 67% felt less sluggish

  • 60% experienced more energy during exercise

  • 54% noticed better concentration at work

  • 54% reported less brain fog

  • 50% experienced an increase in productivity

By Week 4, these effects deepened, showing consistent and wide-ranging improvements:

  • 85% reported improved energy and 83% improved mood

  • 77% felt less sluggish and less irritable

  • 72% found it easier to motivate themselves for exercise

  • 66% reduced cravings for sugary snacks

  • 75% reported higher productivity, with 70% noting improvements in focus and brain fog

  • 79% had more energy during exercise, while 70% recovered more quickly

  • 62% felt physically fitter, and 60% saw measurable improvements in athletic performance

And finally, 91% of people said they would continue using the product.

The Science of the Formula

Unlike traditional electrolyte products, which rely heavily on sodium, Cellular Hydration emphasises a balanced electrolyte and nutrient profile designed to support sustained energy, performance, and cognitive health.

Magnesium and Potassium:

Both are essential electrolytes that regulate muscle contraction, nerve transmission, and cellular hydration, as well as having a broader impact on cognitive focus. Deficiencies are linked to fatigue, cramping, and sluggishness. The improvements in exercise energy and post-workout recovery reported in the study align with their known physiological roles.

Calcium:

Beyond bone health, calcium supports neuromuscular function and energy release. In tandem with magnesium and potassium, it contributes to better muscle performance and reduced fatigue during exercise.

Vitamin C:

A powerful antioxidant that not only supports immune defense but also reduces oxidative stress, which is an important factor in energy and recovery. Its role in neurotransmitter synthesis may help explain cognitive improvements, including reduced brain fog and better concentration.

Malic Acid:

An intermediate in the Krebs cycle, malic acid contributes directly to cellular energy production (ATP). Clinical research has connected malic acid to reduced perception of fatigue, which may explain the substantial increase in reported energy levels and reduced sluggishness.

Maca:

Traditionally used for enhancing stamina, mood, and focus, maca has growing evidence supporting its adaptogenic effects. It may underlie improvements in motivation, mood resilience, and productivity reported by participants.

Inulin:

A prebiotic fibre that supports the microbiome, it has downstream effects on energy metabolism, emotional wellbeing and appetite control. The reduced cravings for sugar observed in participants may reflect prebiotic fibre’s impact on blood sugar stability and satiety hormones.

Redefining Hydration

The results of this study demonstrate that effective hydration is not only effective for elevating multiple markers of wellbeing, but also that it does not rely on high levels of sodium. By combining a balanced spectrum of electrolytes with antioxidants, metabolic cofactors, and adaptogenic botanicals, Cellular Hydration delivers support that goes well beyond exercise performance and recovery. Its benefits also extend into everyday wellbeing, showing improved mental clarity and cognitive focus to greater metabolic stability and overall resilience.
